Lawrence of ARABIA
Thomas Edward Lawrence, one of the important historical characters. He is called "Lawrence of ARABIA" Because he was revolutionist in that time. The first scene begins that the accident with a motorbike caused his death and almost all couldn't image his heavy life just from it. I was surprised at this story and had some kinds of feelings, awful and harsh ...sorrow...
I sugesst the highligh of this film is his expression and feeling, so I mean how to change its well. You should look at his face carefully, for instance, his face has been controled by fear gradually in the latter half of the film. You can also feel his feelings as if experience it yourself as he did.
I felt so harsh because I watched it after "Gandhi" so I compared caracteristic between Lawrence and Gandhi. Especially, there is huge difference on the way of thinkness about the violence. But it's oviously that Lawrence is usual person. I can't mention which is right. The most memorable scene is that he got out the room and it is not any longer there is appearance of him there and a man who followed him sheds tears quietly.
Finally I'd like to say that I don't prefer his character exactly because he run away and said terrible things sometime, however, he fought against very well and it's great memory in the history. And Peter O'Toole's acting was really wonderful.
I found an interesting site. It's written in Japanese but there are included a lot of imformation about films. Please check it!! http://www.actv.ne.jp/~yappi/eiga/eiga.html
It's official HP http://www.pbs.org/lawrenceofarabia/
You can hear the music and see the pictures but it's not in English..haha http://www.bilbocine.com/lawrence_de_arabia.htm
